About the Hub

A shared home for a statewide network

The Wildfire County Coordinator Resource Hub connects past, present, and future Coordinators across California — centralizing resources, training, mentoring, policy, and events in one place.

What the Resource Hub is

The Hub is the members-only platform that connects California's Wildfire County Coordinators. It centralizes the templates, guides, training, mentoring, policy intelligence, and coordinated events that make individual Coordinators more effective and the statewide network more cohesive.

It is built and maintained by the California Fire Safe Council on behalf of its grantees and partner agencies. It is not a public-facing site — access is granted to active Coordinators and authorized CFSC staff.

Who it serves

Wildfire County Coordinators

County-level Coordinators funded under the current grant cycle, plus alumni Coordinators and incoming hires.

CFSC staff & authorized partners

CFSC's program team, contracted comms partners, and authorized state-agency liaisons.

Program goals

1

Local capacity

Increase wildfire mitigation capacity in every California county.

2

Collaboration

Facilitate county-wide collaboration across agencies, tribes, and partners.

3

Outreach

Improve community outreach and education on wildfire preparedness.

4

Risk reduction

Advance defensible space and home hardening at scale.

Funding partners

The Wildfire County Coordinator Program is funded in partnership with CAL FIRE and the California Climate Investments program. Both partnerships shape program priorities, funding allocation, and reporting requirements.

How access is granted

Hub access is issued by the CFSC Program Lead at onboarding. Returning Coordinators retain access each grant cycle. Ex-Coordinators keep view access after their grant period and can continue mentoring newer Coordinators.

If you are a current Coordinator and need access, contact [email protected].

Accessibility statement

The Hub conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and Section 508 standards. If you encounter a barrier — a missing caption, a form that doesn't work with your screen reader, anything in your way — please contact us. We treat accessibility issues as priority bugs.
